About this nanny job

Two very sweet kiddos are in need of weekend care. Our usual weekend sitter is out of town. Matilda is a very sweet creative 4 year old, she loves drawing, “experiments”, and coming up with stories to share. Otto is just starting to crawl and loves getting into everything he shouldn’t! While primary care will be focused on Otto as Matilda usually goes out to the farmers market or exploritorum with one of her parents for a good part of the day, when she is home we would love someone that can confidently engage with her (well enough that mom and dad can head out the house for a couple hours without her having a heavy case of crocodile tears). We would love someone that is proactive about picking up after the kids and willing to straighten up in the kitchen/living room throughout the day if needed (while still encouraging and gently directing Matilda to clean up her own messes), set out meals for the kids (our reg nanny will have premade meals and snacks in the fridge) and feel comfortable taking them down the street to precita park. The big thing is end of day bedtime routine for Otto, dinner, bath, bed by 7:00. Matildas parents will handle her own bedtime. Punctuality and reliability are greatly appreciated!
