About this nanny job
We are a single family seeking for a part time nanny to be our aftercare provider for our sweet 2 year old daughter. The nanny we hire will become a part of our family, and as such we hope to find someone with values that match ours. We’re looking for an individual that leads with kindness, patience, and a generally optimistic attitude. With that being said, life isn’t all rainbows and butterflies and it is important to us that we build a relationship rooted in trust and transparency. We aspire to have a nanny that will provide a positive influence and a lasting impact on our daughter! • Location: Mercer Island • Schedule: 5 days per week and occasionally on the weekends (with advance notice) • Hours: M-Th, 3:00 to 6pm (flexible on end time) • Rate/Compensation: $27-28/hr. Vacation and sick days. Requirements: • CPR/First aid certified • Up to date on all standard vaccinations and boosters (Covid, Flu, TDAP, MMR, etc) • Owns a safe/reliable car and comfortable driving our child • Clean driving record and valid driver's license • Prior nanny share experience with infant care experience • Non-smoker (includes vape pens) • References from previous employers • Strong communication skills • Ability to offer occasional babysitting for date nights is a plus Responsibilities: • Picking up our daughter from Pre-School in Mercer Island and bringing her back home • Starting off her afterschool routine which will entail story time, meal prep, bath and pre+bed time routine • Diaper changing and potty training support • Feeding and preparation of meals • Washing bottles and plates • Picking up/cleaning up after meals and snack time • Tidying up at the end of the day • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment Looking forward to chatting!Nanny job details
