Hi there, My name is Falisha and I’m a single mom looking for some help with my son before and after school. Balancing work and parenting has been such a rewarding but busy journey, and I’m at a point where having a little extra support would mean a lot — for both me and my son. I’m looking for someone dependable to help either in the mornings or afternoons, depending on my work schedule. The hours would vary slightly, but it would typically be 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM (helping him get dressed, fed, and dropped off at school) or 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM (picking him up, helping with homework, and hanging out until I’m off work). My son is a very smart, curious, and energetic little boy. He’s a deep thinker, great with math and puzzles, and loves learning about the world around him. He’s the type of kid who’s always asking “why” and wanting to build, create, and explore. Because of that, I’m hoping to find someone who enjoys engaging with kids beyond just basic supervision — someone who will challenge his mind, encourage his creativity, and genuinely have fun spending time with him. Trust, kindness, and patience are extremely important to me. I’m looking for someone who truly enjoys being around kids and who sees caregiving as more than just a job. I need someone reliable, caring, and present — someone who will create a positive and safe environment while I’m away. It would mean so much to me to find someone who could be a steady and positive part of his daily routine. Our home is pretty relaxed but structured when it comes to routines and respect. I work hard to provide stability and encouragement for my son, and I’m looking for someone who can help continue that energy when I’m not there. Ideally, you’d have some experience working with children (either professionally or personally), but most importantly, you should have a warm heart, good instincts, and a genuine love for helping kids grow. The schedule can be flexible depending on your availability. Some weeks might be heavier in the mornings, some in the afternoons, but I’ll always do my best to communicate ahead of time so there are no surprises.
