About this nanny job

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and creative summer nanny to care for our two young children during the summer months. This role is Monday through Thursday and offers a meaningful opportunity to create a fun, safe, and educational environment for our kids while school is out. Key Responsibilities: • Provide attentive and loving care Monday through Thursday. • Plan and lead age-appropriate educational activities such as reading, simple science experiments, and creative arts to keep learning fun. • Organize safe and enriching outings (e.g., parks, libraries, museums, splash pads) with our approval. • Foster imaginative play, outdoor exploration, and positive social-emotional development. • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children. • Maintain daily structure including meals, rest time, learning time, and play. • Communicate daily with parents about routines, activities, and any concerns. • Perform light housekeeping related to the children (tidying toys, dishes used for meals/snacks). Requirements: • Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. • Prior experience working with children (ideally 4–6 years old). • Must have safe, reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for outings. • CPR/First Aid certified or willing to complete before start date. • Creative, patient, and enthusiastic with a genuine love for children. • Ability to balance structured activities with free play while maintaining a calm and positive environment. Schedule & Pay: • Monday–Thursday, approx. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (exact hours may vary slightly upon mutual agreement) • Position runs from end of May to early August.
