Our amazing nanny just shared she's moving across the country. Whoever steps into this role will have big shoes to fill. We're a warm, loving family looking for an experienced, nurturing, and energetic nanny to join our household starting mid-June. Our current nanny will help with the transition before she leaves. We have two kids: Our son is 10 months old (adjusted age: ~7 months). He was born at 24 weeks and spent several months in the NICU. He’s thriving now but continues to receive weekly physical therapy and has regular doctor appointments. A medical background is not needed but experience with PT, premies, etc. are definitely a plus :) Our daughter is 5.5 years old and will be in school full-time but will need care during school breaks and occasional after-school hours. She’s bright, imaginative, and full of energy! She will want to get down and play so looking for someone who is active and has energy. We're looking for someone who is ✅ Attentive and proactive—comfortable managing appointments, keeping track of schedules, and adapting to our son’s developmental needs ✅ Active and playful—able to get down on the floor for tummy time, play, and practice exercises ✅ Patient and nurturing—gentle, warm, and supportive, especially with our daughter who can have big emotions ✅ Reliable and organized—someone who takes initiative and communicates clearly Duties include: - Caring for our infant during the day: feeding, naps, engaging play, and therapy exercises - Light housekeeping related to the kids (bottle washing, tidying play areas, kids’ laundry) - School pick-up for our daughter (driving our car) - Preparing simple meals/snacks for the kids - Taking our daughter to her extracurriculars when needed Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:30am-4:30am) but open to discussing flexibility Must haves: - CPR/First Aid certified - Up-to-date vaccinations (including flu, Tdap, COVID) - Non-smoker - Clean driving record with valid driver's license
