We are a dedicated family seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and proactive in-home nanny/caregiver/teacher for our son, who is making significant progress through natural, biomedical, and functional healing methods. Our son is in a transformative stage — progressing from being non-verbal to becoming increasingly verbal, with emerging comprehension and social engagement. Both parents work remotely from home, and we are deeply committed to his ongoing development. Position Overview: * This position will start as a traditional nanny/caregiver role, focused on safety, meal support, and assisting with daily routines (including giving pre-prepared supplements). * As our son continues to progress, the role will gradually shift to include more structured activities, language support, and early learning through play-based methods. * Our primary focus is on speech, comprehension, and potty training before academic skills. * The ideal candidate will be comfortable adapting their approach as our son continues to develop and show new abilities. Primary Responsibilities: * Ensure our son’s safety and well-being during the day. * Assist with feeding and provide pre-prepared supplements according to mom’s instructions. * Engage our son in play-based learning and communication exercises. * Encourage speech, comprehension, and social interaction. * Collaborate with parents to develop and adjust activities as he progresses. * Over time, introduce early learning concepts (letters, numbers, colors, etc.). * Maintain a positive, nurturing, and encouraging environment. Schedule: * Part-time: Mid-morning to around 4:00 PM (flexible for the right candidate). * Both parents work remotely from home and will be available for support as needed. Qualifications: * Experience working with children, especially preschool or kindergarten age. * Patience, adaptability, and a willingness to adjust teaching and caregiving approaches as our son progresses. * Comfort with dogs. We have a protective Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix, who will be secured until she adjusts to your presence. * Strong understanding of gentle, positive communication methods. * Previous experience with children needing speech support or developmental guidance is a plus.
