Summer Mentor & Companion for Active Teen (Part-Time) Location: Bellevue, WA Schedule: Part-time, flexible (2–4 days/week) Pay: Competitive, based on experience I’m looking for a fun, empathetic, and active caregiver to be a summer mentor and companion for my 16-year-old son. He’s bright, kind, and deeply curious, with a great sense of humor, and he thrives with caregivers who are patient, engaging, and open-minded. He is neurodiverse and high-functioning, and he does best with adults who understand social anxiety and can provide a calm, low pressure, and supportive presence. What you’ll do: • Go on outdoor adventures (hikes, nature walks, etc.) • Support fitness goals by going to the gym together or playing sports • Encourage positive social interactions and confidence-building • Offer companionship and light mentoring, think “cool older sibling” energy • Be someone he can trust and enjoy spending time with Who you are: • Warm, fun, and responsible • Comfortable with teens and familiar with neurodiversity • Active and outdoorsy, you like movement and fresh air • A good communicator and a steady, positive presence • Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record I’m hoping to build a small team of two caregivers to provide flexibility and coverage throughout the summer.
