About this nanny job

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and energetic babysitter to help care for our sweet and active 1.5-year-old boy. This is a part-time position ideal for someone with experience in early childhood care who enjoys engaging with toddlers and supporting their development in a loving, safe environment. Responsibilities: •Supervise and ensure safety at all times •Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities, television and play •Diaper changes and eventually potty training support •Meal and snack preparation/feeding •Light housekeeping related to daily responsibilities (tidying up toys, washing bottles, wiping down high chair, etc) Qualifications: •Previous experience caring for infants or toddlers •CPR and First Aid certification preferred •Non-smoker •Must have own transportation •Must be dependable, punctual, and have a genuine love for children Our son has a few health issues concerning his kidney and blood, he is on medication for blood clots. It’s imperative that you are comfortable giving medicine to children and are extra cautious when/if he gets injured, as he could bleed a little heavily. We need someone who is great with communication and giving us updates continuously throughout the day. Having your own form of transportation is a necessity for possible emergencies, we will provide a car seat for you. Compensation: $18+ per hour depending on experience **I don’t work every single week, it’s typically an every other week schedule with an occasional two weeks in a row **We have the sweetest German shepherd, so being comfortable with large dogs is a must!
