About this babysitting job
I’m looking for a gentle, patient sitter to care for my senior Pekingese from August 7–10. She’s 13 years old with spinal issues, vision and hearing loss, and high anxiety, so experience with senior or special-needs dogs is ideal. Care would include 2–3 visits per day: a morning and evening walk/check-in (with feeding and nightly medication), and a midday potty break if possible. She eats fresh-prepped food once daily, and I’ll have everything portioned and ready. She can be stubborn about going outside, so calm energy and patience are key. She wears a harness for walks, so I’d prefer to schedule 1–2 practice visits before the trip to help her get comfortable. I have a patio, but prefer she be walked outdoors as much as possible.
