Hi! I'm Isabelle, am 29 years old and live in NYC. I have an AA in Art and a BA in Politics. I work as a case manager/community organizer at a food pantry on the UES. I used to babysit during college and always enjoyed it which is why I still occasionally enjoy picking up some gigs here or there :) I grew up in Germany with an American mother, a German father, and am the oldest of 4 siblings. I'm fluent in both German and English and have worked with bilingual kids in both a nanny and teaching environment. After graduating from HS in Germany and professionally working in the performing arts growing up, I was interested in working socially with families and kids who were less fortunate/had special needs. In the summer of 2015, I started an art+living project in Germany with kids and families who had fled their countries. In 2016, I became part of a therapeutic horse farm that focused on working with kids with special needs. I was the outdoor teacher and leader of an inclusive forest group consisting of 5-7 children aged 4-10 years old. Upon moving to the USA in 2017, I worked as a teacher at the Seattle Waldorf School and absolutely ❤️ it. In the summer of 2022, I worked with kids in Ukraine+Poland, primarily teaching or working with mothers and babies. I've been working with runaway homeless youth at places such as The Door and The Ali Forney Center for the past several years. Working with kids has always brought me joy and kept me grounded during hectic times. I nannied during undergrad and, while I have experience with children of all age ranges, I have primarily worked with infants and babies during their first year of life. I have experience with night-nannying, sleep training, feeding, and multiples. For those of you with older kids, bedtime routine is no problem either as I have had many longer term after-school gigs as well. I am confident in navigating the city responsibly, including school pick-up, and use of public transit. As a nanny, I'd describe myself as relaxed, punctual, reliable, flexible, confident, reasonable, communicative, consistent and dedicated. I very much enjoy working with families of different backgrounds, and I am absolutely LGBTQ+ family-friendly, being part of one myself. I can provide references and am happy to answer any further questions. I'm vaccinated and CPR trained. ⭐️ When I'm not nannying, I am playing soccer, going for a run, cheering on the WNBA+ NWSL, going out with friends or staying in with my books.

Hi- My name is Dylan! I enjoy partnering with parents to ensure children receive the nurturing, consistency, care, and fun they need. I am a kid at heart and love to get down on the floor (or up in a play structure) to play with kids, encouraging their imagination, doing age appropriate science and art projects, adventuring outdoors, and facilitating their brain development through play, reading, and singing. It is important to me to model empathy, respect, and acceptance with the goal of empowering children to solve problems. Additionally, I am very skilled at multi-tasking and time management to ensure the safety and well being of all children in my care. Biggest strength: I give kids the attention they deserve! I am regularly referred to by parents as the 'kid whisperer' or 'Pied Piper.' While some believe I have magical powers (especially toddlers!), in truth, I am simply present and attuned to their needs and wants, through the laughter and tears. Experience: I have over 15 years experience as a babysitter and nanny for children birth to 12 years, providing care for up to 5 children at a time in the family's home and traveling. Including extensive 24/7 care for parent work/fun trips, Philosophy: I feel strongly about following the family's routine and general style of parenting for consistency and a sense of safety for your kid(s). With that said, I engage a gentle parenting style and natural consequences rather than punishment, do not engage kids with screens (with minor exceptions), and love to help tidy, if you are open. Specifics: I have experience as a newborn night nanny, birth and postpartum doula. I have worked with single parent, blended, multiracial & LGBTQ+ families. I have worked with preemies, newborns, twins, neurodivergence (ADD/ADHD, autism, OCD), food allergies/special diets, and trauma (medical, bullying, and DV). Neurodivergence Experience: Nonverbal (with and without comm boards), toileting, care/support during meltdowns, sensory seeking, special food prep. Animals: I love them! Happy to pet, potty, and feed your fur family as well. Or ignore, in the case of an aloof kitty :-) Education: BA: Leadership & Human Services Antioch U - Seattle (2014) Infant/Child CPR/First Aid - 12/25 Newborn Care Specialist Certificate - 12/25 Work History: 10+ years in social work directly supporting homeless youth, mental illness and SUD in homeless adults, and medically fragile individuals. Happy to share ample glowing references!
