Hello! My name is Phindi (the ‘H’ is silent), I'm a dependable, patient, and caring caregiver with years of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns and infants to toddlers and school-aged children. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. In addition to raising my own child, I have cared for my grandmother, assisting with companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and daily living tasks. This experience strengthened my compassion, patience, and ability to provide attentive care to people of all ages. I also have experience with house sitting and can assist with light housekeeping, laundry, meal and snack preparation, homework help, bedtime routines, organizing, pet care, and keeping the home tidy while you're away. I enjoy reading with children, arts and crafts, educational activities, outdoor play, and helping them reach developmental milestones in a fun and positive way. I often volunteer at my child's school during book fairs and other school events, where I work with students, teachers, and families. I am also pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Cloud and Information Technology, which has strengthened my organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Families can count on me to be reliable, trustworthy, and attentive. My goal is to give parents peace of mind by providing compassionate, dependable care and treating every child and home with the same respect and attention I would give my own.
Hi! My name is Diamond, and I'm 21 with 3+ years of experience working with children. I'm passionate about creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and flourish. I have experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher in a Two's classroom, providing age-appropriate activities, supporting developmental milestones, assisting with potty training, managing routines, and prioritizing safety. I am CPR and First Aid certified, Maryland State Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Qualified, and studied Early Childhood Development at the College of Southern Maryland. Before teaching, I worked as a full-time 9-5 nanny for a child from 7 months through age 3, gaining extensive infant and toddler experience. I also have experience caring for children with disabilities and learning challenges, including ASD, ADHD, anxiety, and OCD. I am a mother to a 6 month old infant son who would accompany me while working. He loves other babies, and I believe this can provide great socialization opportunities!
