About this nanny job

Seeking part-time nanny to care for 21-month old toddler with known food allergy. Willing to guarantee 8-10 hours/week with the option for additional daytime/evening shifts pending availability. Prefer long term fit and monthly scheduling. Expecting second baby in August 2024 so position has opportunity for growth to include toddler/newborn daytime care – hourly rate will increase for additional children. *Must be up to date on all Illinois mandated vaccinations, including COVID/influenza/Tdap *CPR/First aid certified *Non-smoker *Familiar w/food allergies and comfortable executing allergy safety plan and using EpiPen - no sesame products allowed in the home *Non-smoker *Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills *Understanding of the Montessori Method *Prefer background in early childhood education, music or the arts *Comfortable with pets *No personal phone/screen time during wake time *Valid driver's license with clean driving record *Added bonus if bilingual - Spanish, Hindi or Arabic speaker
