About this babysitting job

Hi! My wife and I are expecting our second child any day now. Her due date is June 10th. We need a flexible and experienced caregiver to essentially be “on call” over the next few weeks and be available to look after our son, Remy for a few days while we are at the hospital. Some important things to consider: +We will be 15 minutes away at the hospital and I’ll be coming back and forth to check in and assist! +Need to be comfortable sleeping over for a maximum of 3 nights, but likely 1-2 +Remys food will be mostly prepared so only minimal cooking necessary +If you get the call during the week, Remy will need to be taken to school 20 min from our home. His school day is 8:30am-3:00pm. Here’s what a hypothetical scenario could look like: - You get a call from us at 4:00pm on Saturday May 31st saying we need ya! - You pack a bag and get here within a couple hours at 6pm. - We help get you settled in. We’ll give Remy dinner while you’re on your way and get him in his pajamas. - You play with him for a couple hours, read books, and put him to bed by 8pm - You have some time to yourself, check in with us, and get ready for bed. - You head to sleep. - Wake up Sunday around 7:30am, make Remy breakfast - Play with him, go for a walk, take him to the park, any fun toddler activities you can think of! - Feed Remy Lunch - Play with him, go for a walk, take him to the park, any fun toddler activities you can think of! - Feed Remy Dinner - Read books, watch a movie, arts and crafts, etc - Put Remy to sleep - Wake up 6:45am on Monday - Make Remy breakfast, help get him dressed, pack his backpack. - Drive to school and drop him off at 8:20am - Pick Remy up at 2:45pm - Play with him, take him to the park, any fun activities you can think of - Feed him dinner at 5-5:30pm - Get him ready for bed - Put Remy to sleep by 8pm As I mentioned I’ll be close by and will be coming in and out to assist. This role is perfect for experienced sitters with flexible schedules. I realize this is a total long shot for us to be able to find someone but wanted to put this out there in case that special someone does exist! :) Pay commensurate with experience. We live right in the heart of Morristown .1 miles from the town green in a luxury apartment building. You’ll be well taken care of. If you think you’re a good fit, please let us know!
