About this nanny job

We are a military family moving to the Twin Cities and looking for a reliable, caring caregiver for our two toddlers (ages 2 and 3). Both kids are sweet, funny, and curious—they love being outside, doing crafts, reading books, and engaging in imaginative play. What we’re looking for: A patient, calm, and engaging caregiver who enjoys toddlers close in age. Someone who respects our family values—we are a screen-free family and run a Montessori-inspired household, focusing on hands-on play, exploration, and independence. Comfort with preparing simple snacks/meals and helping with nap/quiet time routines. CPR/First Aid certification is a big plus (or willingness to get certified). Schedule: We need part-time coverage during my college classes, likely a few afternoons/evenings each week. Hours will be confirmed as the semester schedule is set, but you can expect around 6–10 hours per week. Flexibility is important—my school schedule changes slightly by term, but we’ll always provide notice and set a consistent rhythm. About our family: We’re a warm, down-to-earth household with two toddlers who keep us laughing daily. We value kindness, patience, and a nurturing environment.
