About this nanny job

We’re looking for a warm, engaging nanny to care for our baby as I return to work full-time. I'll be working from home January through March, and then in the office Tuesday through Thursday starting in April. We're still figuring out the exact schedule and structure, but generally need support during the workweek, especially while I’m in meetings or focused on work. Our ideal nanny is more than just a caregiver — they’re a valued part of our team, someone who genuinely cares about our child’s well-being and development. We’re looking for someone loving, patient, and passionate about working with children. A strong understanding of developmental milestones is important, as we’d love our nanny to actively engage in age-appropriate play and help nurture cognitive and motor development. Our baby will be between 6–12 months during this time, so we’d love someone who can adapt as he grows and his personality continues to emerge. We hope for a nanny who can model and encourage positive behaviors, and who’s open to occasional outings (e.g., walks, library trips, or the park — expenses covered, of course). Flexibility, empathy, and a collaborative mindset are key — we’re still learning as parents too, and we’d love to find someone who can grow with us.
