Part-Time Caregiver Wanted for a Wonderful 4th Grader Are you a responsible, energetic, and creative person who enjoys working with bright kids, supporting homework, and bringing some fun and structure to the after-school routine? We’re looking for someone reliable and caring to join our family team. We need a part-time babysitter/caregiver for one kind, curious, and spirited almost-9-year-old boy as he enters 4th grade. This is a smoke-free, pet-free, no-screen home where kindness, communication, and consistency are valued. Approximate Schedule beginning mid September: Tuesday & Thursday: 2:30 PM-6:30 PM Wednesday: 5:00PM-8:00PM Friday, 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM (End time schedule is approximate.) Your Responsibilities: * Pick up from school in Kips Bay or afterschool * Support with homework * Coordinate playdates * Heat up, occasionally cook basics like pasta, and serve dinner * Supervise bath time and bedtime prep * Help organize the backpack for the next school day * Bring positive and fully engaged energy for games, art, playdates, and robotic play * Light housekeeping (maintain cleanliness of home) Full job spec available to final candidates. About Mom: I’m a busy professional with a demanding job and deeply appreciative of the caregivers who have been an essential part of our family. Our past sitters have included college students, artists, and career nannies. Reliability and strong communication were common traits between them and remain a huge priority.
