About this nanny job

Hello! We’re looking for a warm, responsible, and experienced nanny/mother’s helper to join our family and provide loving care for our baby and mother. We’re seeking someone who is nurturing, dependable, and engaged, excited to support our baby’s early development and be a trusted part of our lives.  This is a long-term position, ideally through September 2027 (flexible end date). 📍 Location: Madison Downtown 🗓 Start Date: January 2026 📆 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM or 7 AM – 3 PM (timing can be negotiated) ⏱ Hours: 40 guaranteed hours/week 💵 Compensation: $20/hour Responsibilities • Diapering, dressing, bathing, and hygiene • Help mother get rest and aid in her recovery • Foster a safe, loving, and stimulating environment • Support feeding and nap routines (help with sleep training eventually) • Do and put away child’s laundry and change crib sheets weekly • Plan and engage in age-appropriate, enriching activities (including outdoor time) • Outings to parks, music classes, and the library as the baby grows up • Light household chores, baby meal prep (6 month onwards), and tidy play area Requirements & Qualifications ✅ Punctual, good communicator, and good health (no communicable diseases) ✅ CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain), vaccinated (TDap, MMR, Covid, flu, etc) ✅ Safe, reliable transportation, and have a valid driver’s license 🚭 No use of drugs, alcohol, or smoking while on the job ✅ Must provide dependable references from families you’ve worked with previously ✅ Must be okay with parents using baby monitor at home Benefits • 40 guaranteed hours per week • 1 week paid vacation per year • 3 sick days per year • Covered parking space • Paid federal holidays if they fall on a workday:
