Seeking Nanny for 6-Month-Old daughter (Lennie) and occasional care for our 4-Year-Old daughter (Frankie) in Alamo Square / San Francisco starting early November. We are looking for a long-term nanny for our 6 month old daughter with some occasional care for our 4 year old daughter as well. Our ideal nanny is experienced, proactive, and genuinely loves being a part of a child's growth and development. We see this person as much of a part of raising our children as we are and want to work together with our nanny. We had a nanny for our 4 year old when she was smaller and the things that worked well for us were making decisions together, communicating regularly, and working as a team to all support each other. We're looking again for someone who can be a reliable and caring presence in our household, who we trust and who hopefully we can work with until Lennie goes to pre-school. The Role Full-time nanny to care primarily for our 6-month-old daughter. The schedule will be roughly Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., though we can be flexible on exact hours. Key Responsibilities Primary Care: You'll be the main caregiver for our infant daughter. This includes bottle feeding, napping, diaper changes (potty training longer term), and engaging her in age-appropriate activities. Child Development: We would love for you to help us with baby-led weaning and support the milestones of a growing baby. Toddler Care (Occasional): Our 4-year-old daughter is in TK, but on school holidays or sick days, we'd like you to care for her as well. She loves pretend play, arts and crafts, reading, and is her little sister's favorite person (for now). Meal Preparation: We'd like some help with light meal preparation for the family, as time allows, since we both work from home and once the baby is eating solids will usually share meals together. Activities: We have a beautiful park nearby, local library that does story time, and the girls are in swim so would expect that activities are part of the regular schedule. Household Tasks: Light household chores related to the children, such as tidying up toys, doing their laundry, and cleaning up after meals.Nanny job details
