About this nanny job

M. is a young man diagnosed with autism. His parents are looking for someone to support him at home and in the community (90034 area) You will be assisting M. with daily activities, like preparing meals, washing dishes, and taking out the trash, but you will also be helping with fun things, such as developing, encouraging, and facilitating leisure skills, accompanying M. to activities and outings, and engaging and joining with him in physical activities (like swimming, jumping, basketball, and tag) at home and in the community. You will be hired by a Financial Management Service (FMS), Aveanna Healthcare Services, as a W-2 employee paid hourly at a rate of between $38-$40 per hour; payment will be directly deposited every Friday. You must be able to pass a background check and have a driving record acceptable to the FMS to qualify for this position, as well as reliable transportation to be able to drive M. as needed. Coordinated with good physical strength and “body balance” that is “spot on” YOU NEED TO: Have your own, reliable, car, a clean driving record for the last seven years, and be able to drive M. into the community as needed.
