About this nanny job

We are a warm and loving family in the Harbor Point area of Stamford seeking a full-time nanny for our daughter, who will be 5 months old when care begins. The position is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while both parents are at work. We are looking for a nurturing, reliable, and experienced caregiver who enjoys working with infants. Our ideal nanny is attentive, patient, and engaging—someone who will support our daughter’s growth and development through age-appropriate play, reading, tummy time, and exploration. Safety is our top priority, so CPR/First Aid certification and prior infant care experience are strongly preferred. Daily responsibilities include caring for our daughter’s needs (feeding, naps, diapering), maintaining her routines, and ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Light baby-related tasks such as washing bottles, tidying play areas, and baby laundry are also expected. We value strong communication and hope to find someone who will keep us updated on our daughter’s day, milestones, and any concerns. Additionally we have a friendly family dog, we ask that our nanny be comfortable around pets, though no pet care will be required. We are seeking someone dependable, professional, and compassionate, who will feel like part of our family. The right fit will be someone who is loving, trustworthy, and enthusiastic about helping our daughter thrive during these important early months.
