We are looking for a reliable, caring, and safety-conscious caregiver to assist our family with school pickups and drop-offs for our 7-year-old daughter. She is an engaging, outgoing, and happy child who would love to have a caregiver she can also feel comfortable with as a friend. The position involves consistent weekly driving between Lafayette, Alameda, and Oakland. Responsibilities Safely pick up and drop off our child according to the weekly schedule. Communicate with parents regarding any updates, concerns, or schedule adjustments. Spend quality time with Simone after school transitions Weekly Schedule Monday: Pickup in Lafayette, Drop-off in Alameda Tuesday: Pickup in Lafayette, drop-off in Oakland Wednesday: Pickup in Lafayette, drop-off in Oakland Thursday: Pickup in Lafayette, drop-off in Oakland Friday: Pickup in Lafayette, drop-off in Alameda (Pickup is always from Lafayette; drop-off location varies by day.) Requirements Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Reliable, insured vehicle in safe working condition. Experience working with children; childcare background preferred. Must enjoy spending time with children and be able to engage positively. Ability to commit to the schedule long-term. Compensation Hourly rate (to be discussed based on experience).
