About this nanny job
Our wonderful nanny, who has been with our family, is leaving us for a full-time job in finance. We truly can’t imagine living without her and would like to find a caring replacement as soon as possible. We are looking for a warm, reliable, and energetic mother’s helper to assist our family on weekday mornings with our two young children (ages 3 and 5). Both kids are in full-time school/daycare, so the role is focused on getting them ready in the morning and taking care of light household tasks after drop-off. Morning Responsibilities (Before Drop-off): Prepare and serve breakfast Pack lunches and water bottles Help kids get dressed and brush teeth Drive both children to school/daycare (car required; we’re happy to provide our car for transporting the kids) Post Drop-off Responsibilities (Light Housekeeping): Start and fold laundry, and put it away in designated areas Tidy the kitchen after breakfast (wipe counters, put away dishes, vacuum crumbs) Unload/load the dishwasher Pick up and organize toys or other kid-related messes Tidy bedrooms, including making beds Occasional organization of kids closets or drawers, swapping out seasonal clothing, organizing pantry or kitchen closet Requirements: Prior experience with young children Valid driver’s license and reliable car (or willingness to use ours) Strong organizational skills Dependable, punctual, and positive attitude Non-smoker Bonus: CPR/First Aid certification Willingness to occasionally help with errands We’re a friendly, respectful family looking for someone who can make our mornings run more smoothly and bring a sense of calm and fun to the start of our day.
