About this nanny job

I’m looking for a regular Friday afternoon & evening sitter for my two boys. I can be flexible on the hours & days but an ideal person would be able to come over from about 4-8 every other Friday with some flexibility to do a Saturday evening instead. We would love to start with 3-6 if possible so the boys can get to know you before jumping into evening routines, but we’re flexible. And most important is someone who can work with our 9 year old son who has ASD & ADHD. He is compassionate & active & extremely bright & endlessly curious, so our ideal sitter can help engage his curiosity by playing games, jumping on the trampoline, and reading books. He does not like to be told what to do, so creatively engaging him in a task is critical to success - he’ll do almost any expected routine if you promise to read The Guinness Book of World Records or tell him a story based on science or engineering. Our boys do best when they have a connection with their caregivers so we need someone who can consistently commit to coming regularly & reliably. I will always have food prepared for the boys so no need to cook or clean, but sometimes they will require baths and bedtime routines depending on the time.
