About this nanny job

We are looking to hire a part-time babysitter to help us get our children from school to after-school activities and back home. Our family lives in the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles, and our children – a 14-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy – have school and activities in Silverlake, Pasadena and La Cañada Flintridge. The job will be 3-4 days a week from about 3pm to about 6:30pm. We have some flexibility on the days and hours. If you are the right candidate, we are open to working out a schedule that works for you and for us! Responsibilities will include: - Picking the kids up from their schools. - Taking them to after-school activities and bringing them home afterwards. - Running quick errands if time allows (e.g. picking a few things from the grocery store, returning books to the library, etc.) The ideal candidate should be: - An excellent driver with a valid drivers license, their own car and a clean driving record - Reliable and organized - A good communicator - Someone who enjoys the company of older children and sets a good example for how to be a kind and decent human being - Able to provide references from previous childcare/education jobs If interested, please email the following information: 1.
