We’re looking for a warm, patient, and engaging after-school sitter to support our bright, curious 9-year-old son. He’s full of ideas and enthusiasm but benefits from extra help with transitions and staying organized. The role includes school pickup, accompanying him home or to nearby activities, supporting homework, and helping him stay on task while fostering independence through gentle routines and positive reinforcement. We’re seeking someone experienced with school-aged children — ideally those who are bright, sensitive, and creative — who can provide a calm, structured, and nurturing environment. Comfort navigating Manhattan for pickups and activities is important. Dinner will be prepared in advance, so no cooking is required. Competitive pay is offered based on experience.
