About this nanny job

We’re a friendly family in the Antioch/ Brentwood area looking for a warm, dependable part-time nanny to care for our 8-month-old daughter, Cora. Both parents work from home, and while we’re nearby, Cora deserves more focused attention, fun, and developmental support during the day. She’s a happy, curious baby who loves her two small dogs, exploring, standing, crawling, and trying to climb on everything! We’d love someone who can engage her through play, reading, outdoor time, sensory activities, and early communication like baby sign language. Responsibilities include keeping her entertained and safe, helping with naps (she takes 2–3 per day), light meal prep for her breakfast, lunch, and snacks (we provide the food), and tidying up after playtime or meals. The schedule is flexible, typically 4–8 hours per day on varying weekdays, never exceeding 8 hours. Our ideal nanny is experienced with infants, kind, patient, comfortable with small dogs and parents working from home, a non-smoker, and ideally up to date on vaccinations (Tdap and flu preferred).
