We have an 8 year old, 6 year old and 4 year old. The older 2 kids will be in after school most of the time. Duties include picking up our 4 year old from preschool 5 minutes from our house and driving the older two kids to various activities. You will generally be dealing with only one kid at a time. One parent works from home so can watch one kid when you're picking up the other two. Our schedule is fixed so unfortunately we have very little flexibility regarding hour changes. We'll discuss exact scheduling and duties with you during the interview so you have a clear idea of what to expect. We have a family car and car seats that you can use. A strong driver is an absolute must as activities for the two older kids are some distance away. You must have a clean driver’s license and be happy for us to run a background check. You must also be a non-smoker and fully vaccinated. If you prefer to use your own car, we will pay IRS mileage for miles driven. Our previous nanny spoke Portugese to the children so a native Portugese speaker or a native Mandarin speaker is a huge plus (not a requirement though). Parents only speak English though so you must be able to communicate with us in a little bit of English. (We used google translate with our previous nanny so we're comfortable working with someone who's still working on their english.) We have a little Bichon dog so you must be comfortable with dogs. You will not be expected to deal with the dog. We need at least 2 - 3 recent references that we can call. Thanks very much!Nanny job details
