About this nanny job

We are a family of 4 in Noe Valley looking for afternoon and evening help with some household chores, childcare and to really improve our children’s Spanish! We are looking for someone to come from approximately 3-7pm Monday to Friday, with occasional help through bedtime ~2x per month. We can discuss exact hours, but something like 17-22 hours per week. Tasks include: - washing and folding ~3 loads of laundry per week - preparing ~2 family dinners per week - preparing kids lunches - picking up the kids from school/camp each day between 3-6pm, depending on the day - helping the kids eat dinner and transitioning to the evening Both of our children are fluent in Spanish (at their age level) and we are working hard to reinforce their learning at home. We want you to speak (and teach!) Spanish to the kids and continue to grow their fluency. Lily and Reed are happy, kind, and super fun children who love imaginative play, get along well with each other, and have lots of joy and love to share. We and they always had very close relationships with their nannies, babysitters and teachers and hope to continue that in this next chapter. My husband and I both work long hours and travel for work frequently, so sometimes one or both of us will be home with you, and sometimes we won't be home until the end of the day. We want this person's presence in our home to feel normal and comfortable so the kids have routine and structure! If you have a car and can drive it’s a huge plus, but also fine if that isn't the case. The kids’ school/camp pickups (depending on day of week) are at 17th and Dolores and 19th and Mission. We can discuss pay depending on experience and interest, but we would prefer to pay through a payroll service (with taxes and a weekly paycheck) but can be flexible.
