Part-Time Nanny Position (School Pick-Up & Drop-Off) — 2 Girls, Ages 13 Months & 5 Years - Noe Valley Location: Noe Valley, San Francisco Start Date: ASAP, for 3-4 weeks with option to extend indefinitely if it’s going well OR commit longer term straight out of the gate if that’s your preference Schedule: Monday–Thursday (+ maybe Friday if you’re interested), 6:30–8:30 AM & 5:15–7:15 PM Hours: ~8 hours per week, with the option to extend for additional evening hours as needed and if/when you’re available Compensation: Competitive and based on experience About Us We’re a warm, welcoming family of four based in Noe Valley with two daughters — Piper (almost 5) and Peregrine (13 months). Piper attends transitional kindergarten and Peregrine is in daycare nearby - both are in full time care from 8am-530pm Monday through Friday. We value kindness, reliability, and open communication, and we’re looking for someone who can become part of our family’s rhythm, creating a calm, loving environment for our girls each morning and evening. About the Role We’re looking for a loving, experienced, and reliable nanny to support our family during morning drop-offs and late afternoon/early evening pick-ups. This is a short-term, 3-4-week position (with the potential to extend indefinitely if it’s working well) OR we can commit to something longer term straight out of the gate if that’s your preference. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is comfortable navigating San Francisco either by car (your own) or public transit. Responsibilities Mornings (6:30–8:30 AM) Arrive at our home at 29th and Noe at 630am Get the girls dressed and ready for the day Pack their backpacks with snacks, water bottles, jackets (and milk for Per) Drop them off at school via the 24 bus (right by our house) OR via car Peregrine’s Daycare: 22nd and Noe Piper’s School: 3886 17th Street Afternoons (5:15–7:15 PM) Pick up Peregrine at her daycare (22nd & Noe). Pick up Piper one block away on Hill Street (at her friend’s house). Take the 24 bus (1 block from Hill Street) to our home near 29th & Noe — it’s an easy, door-to-door 10-minute ride. If you prefer to drive, that’s great too! Serve dinner (prepped by mom and dad in advance). We’ll return by 7:00 PM to take over with the kids. We’d love for you to empty their backpacks, tidy up the kitchen and play area once we get home and before you head out at 7:15pm.
