About this nanny job
Fun, Easygoing Afterschool Sitting Job (Mondays & Thursdays): Hello! We are looking for a kind, reliable sitter to consistently hang out with our 9-year-old daughter on Mondays and Thursdays after school. The job includes school pickup (at 3pm in Cobble Hill), hanging out in the neighborhood (playground, window shopping, time with friends), and heading home by around 5:30/6 p.m. A little homework help is nice but not required. On Mondays she has an appointment in Brooklyn Heights that you would also be responsible for bringing her to, and then bringing her home. We also have a sweet English bulldog, so comfort around dogs is important. Occasionally, once everyone is comfortable, we may ask for you and our daughter to take her for a short walk if you are getting home before us. We also have a 12-year-old son who is mostly independent in the afternoons, but we’d love someone open to occasional evening babysitting for both kids. We’re are a pretty low-key family who tend to have lasting professional relationships with our sitters. We value friendliness, flexibility, humor, and open communication. We are looking for a responsible creative person who will make afterschool time fun and relaxed. Really, we’re looking for someone who we can count on for Mondays and Thursdays who would also become our primary sitter for all occasions beyond the weekly routine and who our kids feel comfortable hanging around with. Let us know if you’re interested and we’ll talk! Sarah and ClayNanny job details
