Nanny / Mother's Helper Position 7:00 am - 9:00 am Weekdays in Noe Valley Hi! I am looking for a childcare professional / mother's helper for the very specific hours of 7:00 am - 9:00 am on weekdays. My husband just went back to work and we are scrambling a bit in the morning trying to care for our infant and get our 2.5 year old off to school and we would be so grateful for some help. Duties are as follows: - Be very punctual and arrive at 7:00 am to begin some light housework (ex: loading/unloading dishwasher, wiping down kitchen counters, tidying up toys in living room); - Our 2.5 year old wakes up at 7:30 and this person will either be caring for our 3.5 month old baby (who is mostly sleeping, eating, or playing at this time) or helping 2.5 get ready for school (dress, help with breakfast, apply sunscreen, help brush teeth). You will not be alone during this time as I'll be there helping with one of the kids and helping in general :); - At 8:15, this person will either continue to care for the infant or walk 2.5 to school in her stroller (flat, 5-block walk to 24th), check her into her preschool, and come back to the house; and - Before you leave each day, make sure the bottles are washed, diapers stocked etc. Requirements: - Someone who likes to be helpful and is open to becoming part of our morning routine; - Someone who has experience with infants - must be ok with dogs as we have 2 (they will bark at you and then want love. They're lovable jerks); and - Bonus if you are playful in general and can navigate the big feelings and unpredictable hilariousness of a 2.5 year old. Note - this is a street parking position. Pay - $33 per hour, 5 days per week We are generous and caring people and are open to ideas, feedback, etc. We want this to be a job that feels good to you too!
