About this nanny job

We’re looking for a trustworthy, patient, and understanding caregiver (or tutor) for our 10-year-old son in the Beckley, WV area. He’s an intelligent, creative, and funny boy who loves learning, playing games, and exploring new things — but he also has autism and sensory processing disorder (SPD), which means he sometimes needs extra time, understanding, and gentle support with daily routines and transitions. We’re seeking someone who can: • Help with daily activities (brushing teeth, getting dressed, etc.) in a calm, encouraging way Also working on potty training and starting therapy for his left leg for sensory and balance related issues. Doing some at home and online learning and hoping to transition back to school when he is ready.. • Engage him in learning through fun activities and sensory-friendly play • Support his therapy and skill-building routines (motor play, focus, social, or life skills) • Maintain a predictable, calm environment with respect for sensory sensitivities (low noise, gentle tone, patience, love and respect.
