About this nanny job

Daily tasks Feeding * Bring baby to Mom for breastfeeding per hunger cue * if Mom is unavailable, Prepare and give formula or breast milk as per schedule (every 3–4 hours). Baby takes around 120ml-150ml each time * Do paced feeding when offering a bottle * Burp the baby after each feed. Diapering * Change diapers every 2–3 hours or as needed. * Wash the baby butt after number 2 * Apply aquaphor every day Sleep * Follow nap schedule (usually 3–4 naps/day). Follow baby’s sleeping cues, she will usually become fussy and cries a bit, or rubbing her eyes * Wake window around 2.5hours * Rock the baby for sometime till she’s almost asleep, Place baby on back in crib for safe sleep. * Turn on white noise machine during the nap time * She wears a sleep sack * Record her sleep time, or let parent know when she falls asleep Development & Play * Engage in tummy time (10–15 minutes, 2–3 times/day). * Talk, sing, and read to the baby for language development. * Take baby out if weather is okay ___________________________ Requirements: Prior experience with 6 month old • Fully vaccinated against flu and up-to-date on Tdap. • Non-smoke • CPR/First Aid certified • Has a Car, this location is hard to reach by bus
