Full-Time Nanny Needed for 3-Year-Old (Palo Alto/Atherton) Portuguese speaking is a plus – Start January 2025. We are looking for a loving and experienced nanny to care for our 3-year-old daughter. Mom will have major surgery on January 15, so we need strong support during recovery. Phase 1 (Temporary): January 15 – March 15. Schedule: 7 days/week, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM. Duties: full care of our 3-year-old, school drop-off and pick-up, playtime, activities, outings, meals and snacks, light child-related tidying, and working alongside another nanny who cares for the 1-year-old. Mom cannot lift or help physically during this period. Phase 2 (Optional Long-Term 1-Year Position): Monday–Friday 8 AM – 6 PM + 3 Saturdays per month. Duties: daily care, school drop-off/pick-up, developmental play and structure, light meal prep, light housekeeping, and occasional travel if open to it (all expenses paid). Ideal candidate: experienced with preschoolers, reliable, calm, proactive, good communicator, comfortable working with another nanny, safe driver preferred, Portuguese-speaking a plus but not required. We need this support because mom will be recovering from major surgery and cannot lift or physically assist the children for 6–8 weeks.
