I’m Dre, with Allies for Allies, an approved UrbanSitter partner, and we’re helping a family in Brisbane who is seeking a patient, reliable, and understanding female companion to support their 5 year daughter with Autism, on a part-time basis. She is a bright, non-verbal little girl who uses a variety of communication methods, including an AAC device (that she is still learning to navigate). The ideal companion is someone who is energetic, nurturing, flexible, fun, and collaborative. *Must be willing to drive the family care to activities such as, the park or library. *Must be comfortable and familiar with mild behaviors. A background in psychology, behavioral health, or experience supporting neurodivergent individuals is preferred. Patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor are essential. A valid license and insurance is required to operate the family vehicle.
