About this nanny job

We are currently expecting our 3rd baby. We are looking for someone interested or available for part time early morning support (e.g., 630am - 930 or 1030am), with the possibility for ad hoc additional hours thereafter or on weekends pending interest and availability. Job will involve: 1.) Starting the day with mother's helper type support (e.g., prepping breakfast or lunches for the big kids before they wake, helping to empty the dishwasher, etc.) 2.) Support with morning routine for the big kids (6 years and 2.5 years) once they wake -- getting them up, dressed, teeth brushed, lunches and back packs prepped, doing morning 10 minutes of math, etc). 3.) Job may occasionally involve staying later to drive children to school and/or stay at the house to finish other mother's helper type duties (e.g., folding laundry and putting it away, tidying the playroom, etc). Additional hours may be available for later mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends pending interest and availability. Looking for someone with good attention to detail, who takes pride in their work, and who is eager to stimulate the children (above and beyond routine care). We view a nanny as a part of our family / parenting team, and hope to have someone who enjoys being with our kids and talking to them, is aligned with and effective at enforcing rules while supporting fun, and who brings a positive energy to our home.
