About this nanny job

We are currently expecting our 3rd baby. We are looking for someone interested or available on weekends from anywhere from 8am-8pm or at least 12pm-8pm, with flexibility to adjust slightly as needed. We imagine in the early months of the new baby arriving we will want help for the full 12 hours both days to help with our older children (6 and 2 years). There may be opportunities to pick up additional weekday hours or evening hours after the kids go to bed pending interest and availability. Job will mostly involve... - Playing with our kids - Going to the playground - meal prep and feeding the big kids (breakfast, lunch, dinner) - putting the 2-year old to nap - bath time routine - tidying up after the kids (e.g., helping them clean up the playroom after they're done, etc) - May involve some mother's helper activities while our toddler naps (e.g., emptying the dishwasher, putting laundry away, taking trash out, putting away groceries delivered) Looking for someone with good attention to detail, who takes pride in their work, and who is eager to stimulate the children (above and beyond routine care). We view a nanny as a part of our family / parenting team, and hope to have someone who enjoys being with our kids and talking to them, is aligned with and effective at enforcing rules while supporting fun, and who brings a positive energy to our home.
