About this nanny job

We are a family in Mill Valley looking for a full-time nanny starting in January. We have a 2.5-year-old daughter who is curious, social, and loves being outdoors, and a 4.5-year-old son who is sweet, imaginative, and in preschool. Your day would involve caring for our daughter, driving our son to and from school in our car, and spending the afternoons with both kids. We’re looking for someone loving, energetic, fun, attentive, and reliable—someone who genuinely enjoys being active with kids, taking them to parks, story times, and local activities, and helping with kid-related laundry, tidying, and simple meal prep as time allows. January–August 2026 Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. Full-day care for our daughter, school runs for our son, after-school care, and light kid-focused household support. August 2026 and Beyond Once our daughter starts preschool, the role will shift to a part-time schedule of 1:00pm–5:00pm. From 1:00pm–2:30pm we’d love help with laundry, tidying, light housekeeping, and meal prep before school pickup. We’re open on timing, and for the right person, we’re willing to move our daughter to preschool earlier and hire directly into the 1:00pm–5:00pm schedule starting in January. We’d ideally love someone who can flex to full days when school is closed (in-service days, spring break). Our home is warm, friendly, and communicative, and we’re hoping to find someone who feels like a natural fit with our family and enjoys being part of our kids’ daily world.
