Schedule options (flexible): Option A: Mon & Wed, 9:00–5:00 (16 hrs/wk guaranteed) Option B: Mon Thu or split into 3 shorter days (discuss) Occasional evening (Fri/Sun date night ~1×/month) appreciated but not required. Open to nanny share (can increase days/hours). About our family: We’re a household of 3 with a small, calm dog. Mom will be home most days (needs focus time), may step out briefly for gym/errands. Home is a 20-min walk from Glen Park BART; Monterey/Teresita/Masonic bus lines are a block away. Child: Easy-going 4 months old. A few naps/day; mostly breastfed but takes bottles. I’d like to breastfeed a couple of times during the day to maintain supply. Core duties (when baby is asleep/feeding): - Wash/sanitize bottles & feeding gear - Baby laundry washed, folded, put away -Reset play areas & nursery; wipe high-touch surfaces - Prep simple BLW foods (TBD once solids start; we’ll provide our guide) Outings & safety: - Stroller walk once a day when it’s nice (route distance flexible) - No driving required; comfortable using public transit with stroller for library/story time is a plus Approach & enrichment: - Lots of language exposure and floor play; we have Lovevery toys and a BabySparks subscription you can use for age-appropriate ideas and milestone tracking - Comfortable learning elimination communication and baby-led weaning Screens &; phone use: - No screens for baby. Caregiver phone use should be minimal/on grayscale if near baby’s line of sight; attention focused on baby. Requirements: - 3+ years recent infant experience (3 months+) - Current infant CPR/First Aid (or willing to renew) - Up-to-date routine vaccines (you can provide proof/attestation; we’ll keep confidential) - Comfortable with a small dog (no dog tasks required) References: please have 2–3 recent families we can contact Nice-to-haves: - Familiarity with EC/BLW - Age-appropriate enrichment ideas; - Brazilian Portuguese a plus Compensation & policies: - Rate dependent on experience; - 16 guaranteed hours/week to start; paid holidays that fall on scheduled days; paid trial (3–4 hrs) - Pay cadence: weekly or biweekly (we can align to your preference) - Occasional evenings: pre-approved and compensated How to apply: Send a quick intro, your hourly rate, and contact info for 2–3 references.
