About this nanny job
We are looking for a caregiver for afterschool hours for our two sons, 11 and 8, in Queen Anne. We will need care M-F from school pickup, around 3:15, until their father returns from work around 7:30. Their father will work from home twice weekly, and I will be home one day of the weeks as well. Eventually, there will be flexibility with the days and potentially hours, but in the beginning, the more time to get to know each other, the better. A little more about us: I am a nurse at Seattle Children’s. My partner works in the legal field. Both of the boys are neurodiverse. My 11-yr old has ADHD and minimal developmental delays. My 8-yr old has ASD, Level II. He can communicate with speech, but he struggles with big emotions. And the big emotions make it more difficult to find his words. We take it day by day. We are looking for someone who has ample experience with neurodiverse children, specifically with ASD. We will need someone with a clean driving record to drive our vehicle. We also require someone who has a current CPR certification. The beginning pay is $35/hr. We are willing to pay more, commensurate with experience. One last thing, we have a large white, fluffy, friendly yeti of a dog at home. He is 125 pounds of love. He doesn’t need much, but he would be hard to miss. So if you think you’re ok with pets, make sure you’re really ok! We look forward to speaking with you!Nanny job details
