I’m looking for a reliable, nurturing, and patient sitter to provide part-time care for my 7 year old daughter. She has intellectual and developmental delays, and she thrives with consistency, routine, and kindness. Responsibilities Include: - Getting her off the bus in the afternoons - Occasional babysitting for a few hours (weekdays, weekends as needed) - Assisting with homework - Light snack preparation or meal assistance during babysitting hours - Creating a calm, safe, structured, and engaging environment Requirements: - Experience working with children - Consistent, dependable, and punctual — reliability is extremely important - Patient, compassionate, and respectful of different learning and behavioral abilities - Comfortable following routines and communicating with a parent Schedule: - Part-time, mainly weekday afternoons - Additional hours available on weekends if desired - Specific times and days will be discussed during the interview Who We’re Looking For: Someone kind-hearted, dependable, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children — especially those who benefit from structure, gentleness, and patience.
