Babysitter / After-School Caregiver (Part-Time) We are seeking a reliable and caring babysitter to provide after-school care for our daughter. The role involves school pick-up and transportation to afternoon activities, with supervision and engagement until early evening. Schedule: • Monday – Thursday • 3:00 PM – 5:00/6 PM Responsibilities: • Pick up from school on (Upper West Side/Morning side Heights) • Safely accompany her to scheduled afternoon activities. Most activities are within walking distance (in the 100s) while a few may involve taking the subway or NYC buses (high 80s) • Provide attentive and caring supervision during transitions and activities. • Ensure her belongings (backpack, snacks, etc.) are managed and organized. • Maintain clear communication with parents regarding schedules or updates. Requirements: • Previous experience caring for young children (ages 4–7 preferred). • Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious. • Familiarity with navigating NYC subways and buses with children. • Ability to commit consistently to the Monday–Thursday schedule. • Local candidate preferred (familiar with Upper West Side/Morningside Heights • References required. Nice to Have: • CPR/First Aid certification. • Experience managing activity transitions and after-school routines.Nanny job details
