My husband and I had our little girl born in mid-August and we are looking for a great nanny to care for her in Russian Hill in San Francisco, starting in January/February 2026. Ideally, we would have someone sporadically starting in January for babysitting and getting to know us and our little one, then consistently (full time) starting in mid-February when we are fully back to work. We are very flexible on dates and hours for the sporadic January care. For consistent care starting in mid-February, we are looking for someone who can work 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday plus whatever works for both parties for extra babysitting/extra days. Typically, I will be working from home in a separate room and my husband will be working from his company’s office half the time. We're looking for someone that could commit to working with us until our daughter is 2-3 years old (working together 1.5-2.5 years) but possibly longer depending on our needs plus your needs. We also have a medium sized (very friendly) Australian Shepherd, so the right nanny would need to be comfortable around a dog in the home. The ideal nanny would: Be certified for CPR / first aid and fully vaccinated (Covid, flu, TDAP, etc) Be comfortable with a friendly dog in the home Be willing to be paid on the books with a W-2 Be up to speed on how to support child development with age appropriate activities Be willing to limit their own phone usage while caring for the children Be a strong communicator who is digitally savvy (e.g., willing to log milestones in an app / google doc) Not mandatory, but it would be a “nice to have” if you have a car/drivers license and could help out with occasional cookingNanny job details
