We are looking for an experienced, loving and responsible part-time nanny in San Francisco, West Portal neighborhood (5 mins from Muni station) for our 2.5 year old son, Max. Our wonderful, amazing nanny that's been with us for the past two years (who we absolutely adore!) is having a baby and will be leaving February 1st. We would love for you to start a few days in January to get to know our family before she leaves. Max is observant, kind, energetic, and highly social. He has a regular nap schedule 12-3pm and no problem going down for naps. He loves reading books and listening to music as well as playing with balls, stuffed animals and other toys. Max has a very good memory, and enjoys "naming the world" by pointing out people, places, and objects he recognizes. He loves to say or do things that make adults laugh, and tends to repeat phrases or actions that elicit an exciting reaction. On the playground, he is unafraid to introduce himself to other kids. He gets lots of sleep and eats just about everything he's offered. We often visit the Cal Academy, Botanical Gardens, story time at libraries, and playgrounds around our home. He loves eating and has the same lunch every day! About our family: Mom, Dad, Max, and Rocko (our 25lb dog). Mom works from home part-time, Dad works from home and goes into the office a few days a week. We've been living in San Francisco for over 10 years, but moved into our current house in November. Mom's parents live close and like to visit Max every 2 weeks or so.  Ideal Candidate * Calm, caring, responsible, and loving presence in our home. * Fluent in English, comfortable reading books and explaining the world to Max * Lots of experience with toddlers * Valid drivers License and clean driving record * Strong communication, punctuality, and reliability * OK with light housekeeping (keeping kitchen clean, baby laundry, tidying play area, general organization) * CPR and First Aid certified * Non-smoker * Comfortable with small dog * Up-to-date vaccinations (including flu, COVID, and TDAP) * Strong, recent references
