A loving family in Riverside, CA (92506) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nanny to provide long-term, full-time care for their 2-year-old and soon to be newborn - beginning January 1st. Their preferred schedule is: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5/6:00 PM. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Providing gentle structure and support of daily routine. - Engaging in play-based learning activities and active outdoor play, including backyard and park visits. - Assisting with toddler meal-time, feeding a variety of homemade foods, including purees, Indian breads, vegetables, lentils, and fruits. - Providing and assisting with newborn care (diapering, feeding, sleep routines, etc.) - Maintaining a phone-free, screen-free environment while engaging with children. The ideal candidate is warm and personable, providing attentive support and creating a positive, nurturing environment. Someone able to integrate into the family’s daily rhythm, helping establish a smooth transition as the new baby arrives mid-January. They understand and respect the family’s values and practices, ensuring consistency in caring for the children. Must be able to collaborate, as mom will be at home the first 3 months after baby is born, and dad works from home Wednesday-Friday. Note: The family are practicing vegetarians, and request the caregiver refrain from cooking meat in the home, or eating meat in front of the children. Must be vaccinated (TDAP, Flu) Compensation: $30-35/hour, (PTO & Holidays off)
