About this nanny job
Hi there. I recently moved cross-country to the Long Beach area with my three-year-old, and we are staying in an Airbnb on Temple Street while we look for our long-term home. My toddler is bright, playful, imaginative, and active. She loves creative play, movement, music, and especially role-play like doctor, baby dolls, and playing house. She does really well with caregivers who are patient, gentle, and comfortable supporting kids who can be a little sensory-sensitive at times and benefit from calm redirection. She warms up quickly, and you will easily become one of her favorite people. For the next few months, I’m looking for someone who can help regularly while I get appointments set up, tour apartments, and settle into the area. I can guarantee at least a couple of days a week to start. I also begin graduate school on January 12th. Starting that week, I will need coverage every Thursday and Friday for about six hours each day while I attend class and study. These hours will fall in the morning and afternoon, and I can give the exact times when we connect. We will be looking for daycare once we find our permanent home, but I will continue to need occasional, ongoing help after that for appointments, errands, and general support, and the hours and days may vary. If you enjoy working with toddlers, are familiar with gentle, sensory-aware caregiving, and like supporting families who are getting established in a new city, we would love to connect with you.Nanny job details
