About this nanny job
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and organized nanny/house manager for 30 hours per week to start the first week of January (1/5). My husband and I both work full time with long hours so we need support with our 2 daughters (6.5 years old and 4 years old) as well as household tasks (e.g. children’s laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation and clean-up for school lunches and dinners, errands, and organizational projects in the house). Responsibilities with our daughters include drop-off and pick-up, getting ready in the morning, and building positive engaging relationships. Additional hours may be requested when schools are closed for holidays and breaks. The schedule that we need is a bit unique where there is a morning shift and afternoon shift. Required coverage hours are: 6:30 am – 8:30 am Monday – Friday and 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday – Thursday to support drop-off and pick-up times for the girls. Outside of these blocks, we are flexible on the remaining hours throughout the day as long as responsibilities can be completed (e.g. if you prefer to stay until 10 am in the morning or start the afternoon shift at 2 or 3 pm). We have a car available for your use for transporting the children and errands. Requirements: Safe driving record and your own transportation to come to our house. 2 positive references. Prior experience as an au pair and/or house manager preferred. Rate is $35+/hour commensurate with experience.Nanny job details
