About this babysitting job

Hi there! We previously had a lovely regular sitter but sadly she moved away and are on the look for someone to help us with childcare for our toddler. We're expecting baby #2 in late November and looking for someone amazing to join our village! With no local family, we need someone who can become an extension of our family during this transition. Our son (turned 2 in June) is pure joy - sweet, resilient, and energetic. He faced early challenges including cancer at 9 mo and lost one eye, but this hasn't slowed him down one bit! He's thriving and lights up every room. He loves playing with cars, coloring, park adventures, reading books, and making "flower soup" in his mud kitchen (he'll take your hand to help!). What We Need: • Occasional date nights now • Potential overnight care after we're all comfortable (when I go in labor) • Extra help as we adjust to life with two little ones We're Looking For: • Someone patient, nurturing, and genuinely loves kids. • Someone who can celebrate our son's unique spirit and resilience. • We want a long-term relationship, not just occasional gigs. • You should be comfortable with children who have special considerations and want to be part of our growing family's journey.
