About this babysitting job

We are a fire family which means that our need for childcare changes depending on my spouse’s schedule. We are looking for someone who can cover days our current sitter is unable to cover and/or for days she’s unavailable. I work from home and have a home office so I am home while you’re caring for our son. Our 2 year old is sensory seeking and loves to play… a lot… he loves learning and exploring new things. We are always looking for new ways to encourage and support his developmental milestones. We encourage anyone working with our son to bring new ideas and activities to support his growing mind and body. Job includes prepping him for the day with change of clothing, prepping his breakfast, prepping other meals and snacks throughout the day , changing his diaper (we’re slowly encouraging potty training), doing and introducing age appropriate activities (indoor and outdoor), reading books, sometimes baths, and encouraging Spanish language. There is room to grow into a part time if our son attaches well with you and if you can commit to flexibility; including working with us to care for our son on days we both work and can commit long term. We want to avoid changing his sitters to ensure there is a secure attachment to his caregiver and he feels safe when mom and dad aren’t available.
