About this babysitting job
I have a 4month old baby and am returning to work next week. We have family lined up to care for her on a regular basis, but are looking to form connections with 2-3 sitters who are generally available to help on-call if family is unavailable (with advance and/or short notice). Although we don’t have any immediate need for a sitter, I’d like to have a few caregivers pre-vetted for backup. If needed, coverage would typically be on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays between the hours of 9am - 4pm with some flexibility in hours and duration as I work from home. Once a relationship is established, we may also book an occasional evening for date nights, etc. We live in Novato. We are looking for childcare providers that are good communicators, actively engaging, and have prior experience with infants. Responsibilities would include playing with baby during awake time, putting her down for naps, bottle feeding, and light tidying during naptimes.
